Officially in Mexico

It is so crazy to be writing that I am officially in Mexico. I am currently at the airport in Mexico City waiting to see which gate my last flight will fly out of. It's about an hour and 15 minute flight and then a missionary couple from the United States is picking me up and it will be about an hour drive. I am still in awe at how God has provided, guided and directed for this missions trip! I am so thankful for the many prayer warriors that have been and continue to be on this journey with me! Each one of you and God's faithfulness has gotten me through.

So far travels today have gone well. I have taken two flights and they have been on time and safe. Made it through customs quickly in Mexico City.

I got a message last night from Serena, who has done my orientation, saying remember when we talked about being flexible, here's your first chance. The people that were going to rent to me backed out, but there is a family that will be taking me in. Their place will be ready next week. Until then, I will be staying with Joe & Corinna, a missionary couple that is from the United States. They speak English : ) So that will be a little piece of home for me. So thankful God knows each and every detail and is not surprised by any of these changes. Thankful for others being flexible and taking me in.

Please continue to pray for the transition to go well. I am tired as I didn't sleep well last night. Hoping tonight will be a good night's rest.  Pray for peace, comfort and strength with all the new and unknown. He knows and He cares. Also be praying for everyone back home!

Until next time!
